Samsung Gear S3

As co-lead on this project, the direction was to Illustrate the device and add water raining down for use as a feature image. It started by producing a photoshoot to get the desired angle and perspective approved. Then I divided the watch into segments so they could be worked on simultaneously. After the illustrations were complete, I composited the parts and adjusted the lighting to give the product a premium look. Lastly, I added the rain drops and illustrated them to look as if they are sitting on the watch.

Samsung Galaxy S10

The request was to create a key visual image to be used on Samsung’s S10 global unpack day. This was the first 5G Samsung device so we illustrated the devices in a way to emphasize motion and speed. Referencing photography, the reflections, ground shadows and motion blur were illustrated to emphasize speed.

Samsung Galaxy TabPro S

The client wanted this device to look glossy and elegant, but also sleek but versatile. I teamed up with a co-worker to illustrate the shiny chrome and reflections of the gold color. The base for the illustrations were made from a composite of photographs. Multiple plates were needed to accurately represent the position and perspective of the floating tablet as it unhinges from the keyboard.

Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra

This project introduced new and exclusive colors, and they needed to match the client’s existing assets. The devices were illustrated to be used as a key visual and an animation where the devices enter the frame and slide together.

Texas Steakhouse

This was mostly illustrated but it did have some retouching of photography. This was for the front of menu covers but they wanted it to be used for other elements. Because of that, I made the middle of the buckle look plain without much detail so the logo and text could be easily changed. The leather belt, wood table and the buckle edge were from photography that I shot.

Creation Museum

This was an extremely strategic project. The billboard installments were specifically chosen and designed based on what the billboard location looked like in the field. These pictures were shot on extremely fortunate days because the surrounding sky was fairly close to the sky used in the image. I conducted a photoshoot and mocked everything up before illustrating the dinosaurs. We divided the dinosaurs into body sections and then each was assigned to an artist based on client priority. We assigned the work among the team by dividing the dinosaurs into body sections so that they could be worked on simultaneously.
